The Junior Miss/Master Gold Coast Pageant is a fundraiser for the charities we support with the Florida

American Dream Pageant     This program allows boys and girls from infants to 13 yrs old the opportunity to enjoy the fun and excitement for attending and participating in a pageant. They will be treated as royalty at the state Florida American Dream pageant in February and other charity events throughout the year. 

Awards

 

There will be a winner and two runner-ups in each division.  Some divisions may be combined if there are fewer than five in that division.  Winner receives a $100 savings bond & tickets for four to the Florida American Dream Pageant  They will be introduced on stage.   They will also win a crown, trophy, scepter, and gift bag.

First and Second runner-ups will receive a trophy, tickets to the pageant in February and .  a gift bag. Each of the other finalists will receive a small trophy and a gift bag.  No one goes home without a gift!

Optional winners will receive a trophy, official sash, tickets to the pageant in February and cash award,  Other finalists will receive a trophy.

Admissions

Everyone except the contestant and one chaperone  must have a ticket for entry into the pageant,  Tickets may be purchased in advance for $5.00.  Tickets will be $8.00 at the door.

Age Divisions

Baby        Miss/Master:         0-12 months

Teeny      Miss/Master:         13-23 months 

Tiny         Miss/Master:          2-4 years

Mini        Miss/Master:          5-7 years

Little        Miss/ Master:        8-10  years

Junior      Miss/ Master:        11-13 years

Areas of Competitions

Personality Interview- In this phase of the competition will allow the judges to get to know each child.  Babies 0-23 months will be escorted in with one parent.  The parent will give a brief description of the child’s habits, likes, dislikes, etc.  Children 2-10 years will be escorted in front of judges and the interviewer will then ask each child three questions based on their biographical sketch.  The Junior Miss/Master contestants will stand before judges, give a brief 30 second introduction.  This interviewer will ask each child three questions based on the biographical sketch submitted.        

Sportswear/Casual Wear- Children will wear age appropriate casual wear for an evening out or at a sporting event.  NO , swimsuits, or spaghetti straps.   Modeling is Miss America style.. Props are   allowed. This will be judged during the  interview sessions.

Party Wear/ Evening Wear- Little  girls should wear short dresses for ages baby-10 years.  Decorated dresses with glass beads are allowed.  Little boys in this age division may wear short of long pants,  Contestants in the Junior Miss/ Master division should have long gowns and suits for the boys.  No makeup for under 11 years old.  Light Makeup for the 11-13 year old divisions.  NO bouffant hair styles.

Talent- Your talent should be no longer than two minutes.  Please have music on a CD with an additional backup copy.  Talent will be judged on presentation/performance, difficulty and appearance.

Photogenic- Please submit an unframed black/white or color photo at check-in.  This should be 5X7 or 8X10. Place contestant’s name and age on back of picture,  Photos will be judged by pageant photographer on subject appeal, projection of subject and appearance of photograph.

 Costume-   Award to the best Holiday  costume.

Best Eyes, Best Smile, Best Hair, Best Dressed-  will be judged during the party wear/evening wear competition.

Most Recommendations- - A free competition open to all. Contestants must mail them to the pageant office 11/15/07.
